Local Food

07-25-13
Today my dad would have been 77. He was the one who turned me on to growing your own food. He raised 6 kids on a small farm. We grew our own food and I learned the appreciation of homegrown.

A new project I've started is City Food Swap. This is a local chapter of a large international swapping organization where people of local communities gather on a regular basis and trade homemade or home grown or gathered edibles. I have had this idea in mind for a long time, and City Folks Farm Shop has offered to use there place as a food swapping location. I'm excited to see how this food swap will unfold.

If you are interested in our City Food Swap, follow us on FB.

Links to other ways to follow will be posted shortly.
